Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced Group Chef that advocates company culture and looks after their team. Working closely with the Directors, you will be responsible for all components of kitchen and back of house management across all venues.

To be successful for this role you need to:

  • Ability to oversee two venues, functions and catering
  • Passion for delivering seasonal menus that are creative, reflecting industry trends showcasing local produce
  • Lead and manage a team and promote company culture and values
  • Design, cost and deliver menus that reflect our style of modern and contemporary food that also meets budget requirements
  • Understand the demands and constraints of sourcing and growing local produce in a tropical climate
  • Have modern restaurant or 4* star hotel/ resort experience
  • Have experience working in open kitchens
  • Possess a high level of customer service and show attention to detail
  • Have experience working in a tight knit team and deliver on staffing budgets
  • Be resilient, patient, consistent and deliver on time every time
  • Compose training manuals and standard operating procedures where appropriate and manage a team that follows procedure and protocol
  • Have excellent computer skills including use of modern point of sale systems, stock control and menu engineering


  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Current police check or willing to obtain one
  • 1 current written reference
  • Current drivers licence
